Beauty in the Eye(s) of the Beholder
They say that if you really love something, you must let it go. As human beings, we unintentionally bring destruction, ruin, and ultimately... death. This is not our fault, this is the universes decision, death follows us throughout our entire lives. This being said, if you find something truly beautiful, and you feel a great sense of love for it, trapping it, and keeping it, will only destroy it. Putting it in a cage, a vase, up on a display for all to see, will only deteriorate it, the very being that once awestruck you, will lose all its appeal.. It wasn't only that flower and it's beautiful colors, it wasn't only that elegant animal with its powerful roar, and precious eyes, it was its entire surrounding, it's very cycle of life, it's natural way of living, that made it beautiful.. By taking it away from its habitat, you are only destroying it at a faster rate. Sometimes in today's life you've got to put down that distraction and look around you and simply take in as much detail as you can, so that in 50 years you can think back and remember the beauty that once existed only through your eyes... That is why in today's generation, we are truly blessed to have portable cameras and video recordings of things we cherish most, but never let that do justice, snap a quick picture and put your phone down, take a deep breath and take a mental picture, breath in the air, the distinguished smells, the vibrant colors all around you, the racing feelings that it gives you because it will never be the same EXACT way ever again, so take it all in and never let anything take that gift away from you.
